Fall in love with life.

There will always be someone better than you, in every way possible.

There will always be someone who is more talented, more good-looking, more charming, more intelligent, and more perfect, than you are and than you can ever be.

But please, please, never never, never ever forget, that there will always be someone who is so much more worse off than you are.

There will always be someone who is more devastated by life, more pathetic in his or her situations, and more plagued by the cruelty which the world inflicts for far too long and far too deeply as well.

And so please learn to be content. I think this is one of the hardest but most important lessons to learn in life. Please be content.

And so please realize, how wonderful you truly are, how much you have to be grateful and thankful for, and how blessed you have always been throughout life.

If we can be grateful for the simplest things in life, if we can cherish the smallest moments of perfection that chances our way, like an affectionate smile, like the miracle of a blooming pink flower, or like the sky- how blue it is, how eternally blue it is, and how untouched it is by the scars and bruises of the battered world we live in, life becomes beautiful again.

And so please don't look down when you feel disheartened, no matter how heavy your head feels, for the ground might give way and you might plunge into a labyrinth of darkness where no one will be able to find you or save you.

Instead, lift up your little head, my dear, and look up, look up to the sky, to the white swirls of clouds that dances (that dances for you) across a canvas that knows no boundaries, which merges and melts and blends and sways all the milky colours of soothing serenity together so it looks like the sweetest and most delicious ice cream you have ever seen.

Instead, look up to the sky, to the night which shields you and hides you within it's blanket of black and blue, which offers you a few hours of quiet peace and solitude, which offers you sparkling stars of diamonds glittering with twinkling eyes, promising never to spill any of the secrets you tell them, and which offers you the best and brightest companion of all, taking form in the shape of the golden glowing moon, which beams at you gently and loves you ever so tenderly.

And so please pick yourself up, and keep trying, over and over again.

I can't promise you that you won't ever have to experience pain, or sickness, or loneliness, or grief, or tiredness, or betrayal again.
I can't promise you that your life will be perfect.

But I can promise you that you will be okay.

You will be okay.

Because life is ultimately still beautiful.

And anything, anything at all, which surrounds you, from the people who care about you, to the beauty of nature, to the times when you felt most happy, will prove this to be true.

And so please smile.

Because when you fall in love with life, life, will fall in love with you.

When you fall in love with life, life, will inspire you and motivate you in ways you can never imagine. :)
