This poem is the result of insomnia. Hah.

Title: Run Away

Once in a while, run away.
Run far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far
far

far

far

far

far

f a r away,
from the suffocating madness of this world.

Drop yourself loose like a tiny round rock.
Surrender right into the depth of the furtive gap
between time and space where memories lapse.
Drown yourself within an empty white blanket.

Dig out with your trembling hands
the surreptitious secrets of your silent soul.
Seize it quickly for a second or so,
this evasive warmth,
this shimmering form,
before it eludes you, even you.

Where are you?
Where are you now?
Tell me.
Tell me so I can find you,
before you lose
yourself again,
all by yourself.

Weep gutwrenchingly.
Weep with all your broken desperate painful aching heart.
Become wild if only for a little while.
Weep for me.
Weep for humanity.
Weep and bleed with insanity.

Now come back.
Come back.
Come back.
It hurts I know
but you were never given a choice,
so force down your throat
this very hard fact.
Come back.
I'll let you dream
once in a while
at least
at least I promise.

If you run away,
never come back
or look back
and go mad
or feel sad
at least
at least promise me.

Let's pretend,
that I've moved on
And I tell myself,
That life goes on,
without you.
Open my eyes,
Look deep inside.
I run away
I run away
I run away
I run away
