Today was a good day! :)

I spent 4 hours after lessons ended hiding in the dimly lit Literature room reading 'The English Patient', feeling sand in my hair and on my lips. Its beautiful. I love being alone at times like these. The surreal and serene silence makes me feel at peace with the world which revolves and spins beneath my feet. I could spend forever in this manner, being undisturbed and forgotten by time. All I need is just a good book and I'm perfectly happy and at ease with anything and everything.

"You have to protect yourself from sadness. Sadness is very close to hate. Let me tell you this. This is the thing I learned. If you take in someone else's posion- thinking you can cure them by sharing it- you will instead store it within you."

-The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje

She was right when she said I'm like Mary in 'Pride and Prejudice'. Guess not everybody gets to be Elizabeth. Haha.

'The English Patient' is another book which I stopped reading halfway through and never got to finish >.< I should get rid of this bad habit LOL.

You're like Mary? o.O This comparison has never crossed my mind before. Haha. I should start thinking about it :P

(P.S. You're seriously obsessed with alliteration.)
